The ousted governor of Imo State, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha was seen weeping uncontrollably after the Supreme Court declared Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress [APC] the governor of Imo State.

Hon. Ihedioha contested and won on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP].

His election was affirmed by the Imo State Election Petition Tribunal, as well as the Court of Appeal.

He was, however, removed by the Supreme Court on Tuesday as the apex court declared Uzodinma,  who came a distant fourth, the winner of the Imo State governorship election

See below the State election result as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC]:

AA — Uche Nwosu — 190,364
